10/07-06 - The end of The Championship!
Thanks to all competitors, officials and partners at the Helnan Open Dragon DIF-DM 2006.
We are closing the Regatta - and within the next 2 weeks you can find pictures, informations about the Carbug-GPS-tracking-system and so on on our homepage!
We hope to see you again.

09/07-06 - The Championship is settled!
After 4 days with 6 races the Danish Championship is settled!
The winner of the Danish Championship is GET-A-WAY with Frank Berg, Søren Kæstel and Niels Budde-lund..
CONGRATULATIONS!

09/07-06 - Day 4 - the final race
Today we have a southern wind 7-10 m/s and it will be a exciting day where the battle of the Danish Championship is to take place. Nothing has been settled as yet, but DEN 66/GET-A-WAY is the leading boat.....

09/07-06 - Day 3 - The Marplehead Trophy
After the Saturday races the leading boat is GET-A-WAY and therefore the glorious Marplehead Trophy will be awarded to Frank Berg.

The prizegiving will take place at the Regattadinner at Helnan Marselis Hotel saturday evening.

08/07-06 - Day 3 at 14.00
After some delay caused by changing course of wind - race no. 4 is completed and a new one will be started as soon as possible.

08/07-06 - First race today
Due to changes in the wind course the first race were started with a delay of approx. 25 min.

07/07-06 - No wind
Day 2 has started with no wind and therefore the race has been postponed. Sailers and officials are enjoying the sun, drinking water and relaxing on the habour - waiting for wind.

06/07-06 - Day one
Changing wind courses made it very difficult to complete a race on Day 1 at the Helnan Open Dragon - the Danish Championship. Therefore only one race was completed with DEN 66 - My Way - as the winner with Frank Berg as helmsman. The second race of the day was cancelled due to major changes in the wind course. 40 boats have been on the water.

29/06-06 - GPS tracking
We are excited to introduce a new cooperating partner; Carbug – a company who delivers GPS tracking devices. By equipping each boat with a GPS tracking device it will be possible to follow the races real time ashore on big screens. And after the race each contestant will be able to monitor his own race. The purpose is to raise the public interest in yachting.

The Chairman of the Danish Dragon Association, Mr. Jørgen Bonde, is recommending this activity and we hope you are all willing to participate in the GPS tracking. All it takes is a small box about the size of two cell phones which is to be placed somewhere below deck.

29/06-06 - Boat Launch
Launching will take place on Wednesday from 14.00-17.45 and on Thursday from 07.00-08.00

If you wish to launch your boat some other time please let us know by email and we will try to make arrangements with Aarhus Harbour a few nautical miles from Marselisborg Harbour where craning facilities are available.

29/06-06 - Opening ceremony - change in start time!
Please note that the start time for the opening ceremony on Wednesday has been changed to 18.00 due to coincidence with a reception held by Her Majesty the Queen at Marselisborg Castle where some of the participants at the opening ceremony have been invited.
